The featured speaker for Frank and Pauline Patterson Spring Colloquy 2020 is Dr. Daryl Eldridge.
Dr. Eldridge will be speaking on Discipleship in the 21st century which will be divided into three sessions:
Religious Education/Ministry Leadership, Rockbridge Seminary
Dr. Daryl Eldridge has served as president of Rockbridge Seminary since 2003. Previously, he was dean of the School of Educational Ministries at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drury University, a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctor of Philosophy, also from Southwestern Seminary.
Eldridge’s book, The Teaching Ministry of the Church, has served as a foundational resource in the field of educational ministries since its publication in 1995. In addition to his numerous contributions to books in the field of religious education, he has written extensively on the subjects of church growth and discipleship for Lifeway. He also served as associate editor Baker Academic’s Evangelical Dictionary of Christian Education.
In addition to his experiences in the academy, Eldridge has served as a minister of education and spiritual development in seven churches in Texas and Missouri.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Colloquy will be different. Leveraging Zoom, we will still be able to meet via an Online Webinar and be blessed by Dr. Daryl Eldridge. We’ve arranged for lectures, breakout sessions, and more.
